I was the costume designer and creator for this fun and philosophical sci-fi film in the spring of 2025. The film had a handmade, retro aesthetic that borrowed many stylistic elements from 1970s and Grunge aesthetics with fanciful, handmade touches. I designed several variations of the costumes for the director and producers of the film to choose from. I then sourced many of the garments from local thrift stores. I also hand painted a denim jacket and crafted an asymmetrical dress that mimics a shooting star using mainly upcycled materials.
The sets and costumes were displayed at Spring 2025 Open Studios at the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts in Lincoln, NE.
